On behalf of all the people of our congregation, welcome to Holy Cross!

The three of us serve as the Pastoral Team at Holy Cross. Steve (now our Teaching Pastor) has been here since the early 1990s. Pete (our Congregational Life Pastor) joined us about 6 years ago. Tom (our Executive Pastor) began his ministry here in January of 2011.

The heart and soul of Holy Cross Church is the good news that as sinners we are saved, rescued and loved because of God’s actions in Jesus Christ on our behalf, not by anything we might do to help ourselves.

“We love because God first loved us.” I John 4:19

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God— not the result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.” Ephesians 2:8-10

If Holy Cross were a wheel, Word and Sacrament (Baptism and Holy Communion) worship would be the hub. From that weekly central experience of God’s grace for us, the spokes of the Christian life radiate out: Bible study, education, prayer, youth and family ministry, fellowship, evangelism, missions, stewardship, and our vocations of serving and caring in daily life in the world.
